Introduction to Microfluidics
This is a brief introduction to how microfluidics are being integrated at RARAF.
 
Flow and Shoot (FAST)
FAST is a microfluidic channel in which suspended cell are flowed past the microbeam and irradiated as they pass the beam area.
 
CE-LIF
Capillary Electrophoresis with Laser Induced Fluorescence
 
Optical Manipulation (OET)
Optical Manipulation, or Optoelectronic Tweezers (OET), uses light patterns to generate cell manipulation electric fields to trap or maneuver suspended cells in a microfluidic channel.
 
Cell Dispensing
Controlled cell dispensing from a microfluidic system to control cell numbers and fluid volumes dispensed into analysis tools.
 
Cell Sorting
A microfluidic cross channel for sorting suspended cell populations into two separate channels based on user preferences.
